Biography

Mark Sanford is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 17 in Grand Forks. A retired school administrator, he has served in the House since 2011 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Higher Education Institutions Committee, with roles on the Budget Section including Commerce and Legal Services and Education and Environment divisions. Notable achievements include chairing the Higher Education Committee since 2013 and a lifetime of service impacting K-12 education in North Dakota. He is married to Gloria and has two children.
