Biography

Mark Romanchuk is a Republican state senator representing Ohio's 22nd Senate District, which includes Ashland, Medina, and Richland counties. Born on September 22, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, he is married to Zoi and resides in Ontario. He owns and serves as CEO of PR Machine Works, Inc., a contract manufacturer, with over 35 years of experience in small business, systems engineering, management, and community development. Previously, he worked at Hughes Aircraft Company, including diplomatic roles supporting the INF Treaty with the former Soviet Union and as a team leader/technical advisor to the U.S. Navy in Japan. Notable achievements include creating hundreds of jobs, co-founding and past presidency of the Regional Manufacturing Coalition, past chairmanship of the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, and leadership in workforce development, such as NTMA's national model and Ohio Skills Bank.
