Mark Bertram Murphy is a Republican politician serving as the representative for District 59 in the New Mexico House of Representatives since his appointment on January 16, 2025.

Mark Murphy, born December 14, 1959, is a businessman and oil producer from Roswell, New Mexico. He serves as President of Strata Production Company, a family-owned independent oil and gas exploration and production firm that he grew into a respected regional operation. Appointed by the Chaves County Board of Commissioners to complete the term of Jared Hembree , Murphy focused on recovery efforts after the October 2024 floods devastating Roswell and Chaves County communities like Lake Arthur, Dexter, and Hagerman. His priorities include securing funding for housing and infrastructure rebuilding, advocating for local school control against state mandates, and boosting New Mexico's education rankings. He withdrew from his reelection campaign in April 2026.
