Biography
Mark Anthony Miloscia is a Republican politician from Washington state and a former public school teacher. He previously represented Washington's 30th Legislative District in the state House of Representatives and the state Senate . A Democrat for over 20 years, he switched to the Republican Party in 2014, citing anti-Catholic bigotry as a key factor, and describes himself as a "social justice, anti-death penalty, seamless garment, pro-life Catholic." Notable campaigns include a 2016 run for state auditor and a 2022 bid for Secretary of State while serving as Executive Director of the Family Policy Institute of Washington . He received the Order of Merit , 3rd class.
