Mark McConkey is a Republican state senator representing District 3 in the New Hampshire Senate. He currently serves as Chairman of Public Works and Highways and was first elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2002. A small business owner of McConkey Construction, a family-owned septic design and installation company, he has been active in his community, including as past Chairman of the Ossipee Zoning Board of Adjustment and Commissioner of the Lakes Region Planning Commission. Married for over 44 years with three children and six grandchildren, he is a former Golden Gloves boxer and college football player who has coached youth sports.
