Biography

Mark R. Maynard is a Republican state senator representing District 6 in the West Virginia Senate, covering Wayne , Mingo, McDowell, and Mercer counties. Born on May 14, 1972, in Huntington, WV, to parents Richard Dale and Jewell Gay Maynard, he is a Baptist and works in automotive retail. Notable affiliations include SEMA Legislative Caucus Member, WV Legislative Congressional Prayer Caucus Chairman, and various off-highway vehicle and motorsports groups such as PNW4WDA, EC4WDA, Blue Ribbon Trails Coalition, NHRA, NSRA, NMCA, and WV Off Highway Vehicle Association.
