Biography
Mark Edward Green is an American politician, physician, and retired U.S. Army surgeon. A Republican, he represented Tennessee's 7th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2019 until his resignation on July 20, 2025. He previously served in the Tennessee Senate for the 22nd district from 2013 to 2018 and chaired the House Committee on Homeland Security from 2023 to 2025.
