Biography
Mark Cochran is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 23, which includes McMinn County and parts of Monroe County. Elected in November 2018 as part of the 111th General Assembly, he succeeded Republican John W. Forgety and has won subsequent elections, including defeating Democrat Brad Hartley in the general election. Notable positions include serving as Treasurer for the Tennessee House of Representatives from 2019 to 2022 and Assistant Republican Leader starting in 2022; he currently serves on the House Committee on Calendar and Rules.
