Biography
Mark Boyko is a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 90 . Elected in 2024 with 60.6% of the vote, he assumed office on January 8, 2025, succeeding Barbara Phifer. Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Boyko, age 44, is an attorney at Bailey Glasser, LLP, where he represents workers and retirees to protect retirement savings from Wall Street abuses. He resides in Kirkwood with his wife, 15-year-old daughter, and has a son in college. Notable positions include Ranking Member on the Pension Committee, and service on committees for Elementary and Secondary Education, Utilities, Government Efficiency, and the Special Committee on Property Tax Reform. In March 2025, he was one of seven House Democrats voting for state takeover of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. His legislative priorities include reducing sales tax on diapers and period supplies, protecting consumers from scams, and strengthening public education.
