Biography
Marion O'Neill Rarick is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 29B in central Minnesota, including the cities of Buffalo and Monticello and parts of Wright County. She was first elected in 2012 following redistricting and the retirement of incumbent Bruce Anderson, and has been reelected every two years since, currently serving her 7th term. Previously known as Marion O'Neill, she worked as a former nonprofit executive director and is married to Jason with two children. She is a member of the Buffalo Evangelical Free Church.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: B.S. in applied psychology from Bemidji State University; M.A. in counseling from Regent University. Attended Bagley High School.
- Political Experience: Legislative assistant to Minnesota Senator John Howe from 2010 to 2012. Elected to the House in 2012 . Served as assistant majority leader for the House Republican caucus in 2017-18. Current roles include minority lead on the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee and member of the Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, Rules and Legislative Administration, Ways and Means, and Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committees.
