Marilyn Moore is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Southern Illinois University. Moore served as President of the PTSA in her community. She was also President of Communications Workers of America Local 1298 where she worked for over 20 years. In 2009, Moore was elected State Senator for Connecticut's 22nd District. She serves as Senate Chair of the Labor and Public Employees Committee. Moore resides in Bridgeport, Connecticut.read less
