Biography
Margie Wilcox is a Republican representative for District 104 in the Alabama House of Representatives, serving since 2014. A longtime small business owner in the transportation sector from Mobile, Alabama, she began her career as a bookkeeper in 1977, advanced to management, and later acquired and expanded companies including Yellow Cab of Mobile, Yellow Cab of Baldwin , and Pensacola Bay Transportation . Notable achievements include receiving the Mobile Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Small Business Award, the PEP Environmental Stewardship Award in 2013, and serving as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners . She holds leadership roles such as Chair of the Boards, Agencies and Commissions Committee and Chair of the Joint Committee on Transportation, and is involved in community organizations like Envision Coastal Alabama and the Mobile Advisory Council for Disabled.
