Marc Korman is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 16 in Montgomery County. First elected in 2014 and sworn in on January 14, 2015, he previously served as House Majority Leader from January to May 2023 and chaired the Montgomery County House Delegation from 2018 to 2022. Notable achievements include sponsoring legislation to extend MARC commuter train routes to Virginia and Delaware, co-chairing the Maryland Legislative Transit Caucus, and receiving awards such as Legislator of the Year from the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and a Pro Bono Award from Sidley Austin.
