Maralyn Chase (0032)

Maralyn Chase represented Washington's 32nd Legislative District in the state legislature. Born in 1942 in Washington, she served in the House from 2002 to 2010 after being appointed on January 1, 2002, and was elected to the Senate in 2011.

Notable achievements include being named Legislator of the Year in 2007, honored as Distinguished Alumni of 2008 by the University of Washington, and receiving the Rachel Carson Award.

Maralyn Chase earned her BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Washington.
