Biography

Mandy Lindsay is a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing House District 42 in the northwest corner of Aurora, Arapahoe County. She assumed office on January 18, 2022, after being appointed to replace Rep. Dominique Jackson, who joined the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Lindsay serves as Majority Caucus Co-Chair and advocates for working families, youth, education, affordable housing, renters' rights, and criminal justice reform. Notable achievements include championing 2025 legislation creating housing protections for victims-survivors of gender-based violence and earning a 100% scorecard rating from Conservation Colorado.

Education and Political Experience

Prior to her appointment, Lindsay worked as an independent political organizer in Colorado, served as a legislative aide to Rep. Dominique Jackson, and was employed at a rapid vaccination clinic. She was elected as Democratic caucus chair in November 2022 and continues in leadership as Majority Caucus Co-Chair. Lindsay sits on the Transportation & Housing, Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources, and Capitol Development committees, and has sponsored 14 House bills in the 2026 session. She has four children.
