Biography
Madison John Redd Whittle is a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 49th District, which includes the City of Danville, parts of Pittsylvania County, and parts of Halifax County . A native of Danville, Virginia, born in 1960, he is a local entrepreneur and small business owner who founded MJRW, Inc. in 1988, specializing in real estate development and property management for residential and commercial properties. He is actively involved in community service as a member of the Danville Rotary Club , Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce, Danville Cancer Society, and a founding member of the Crossroads Christian Counseling Mission. Whittle supports local initiatives, including volunteering at the warming and cooling center at Redemption Center Church and offering his Pittsylvania County property, Oak Grove, for a new community center. He was elected to the House in 2025, succeeding Republican Delegate Danny Marshall, and began serving on January 14, 2026.
