Biography

Macy Bolinske

Macy Marie Bolinske is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives representing District 40, which includes Minot. She was born in August 1996 and grew up in Minot. She is married to Benjamin Bolinske and has one child. Currently, she works as a bookkeeper.

Throughout her career, Bolinske has been deeply involved in community service and advocacy. She has worked professionally as a case manager, paraprofessional, and financial administrator for local Minot businesses. Both she and her husband have coached within the Minot Public School District. She currently serves on the board for the North Dakota Miss Amazing pageant, a competition for women and girls with disabilities, and has been involved since its inception.

Education

Bolinske graduated from Bishop Ryan Catholic School in Minot and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Dakota. During her time at UND, she served as a student representative on two separate committees dedicated to addressing high-risk alcohol and drug use among students and community members.

Political Experience

Bolinske was elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 2025 for her first term. She ran on a platform emphasizing conservative Midwestern values, individual liberty, and personal responsibility. Her stated legislative priorities include substance abuse prevention, family issues, economic development, tax reduction, and small government principles.

In the legislature, she serves on the Advanced Nuclear Energy Committee, Human Services Committee, Rural Health Transformation Committee, and the Child Care Services Advisory Committee. Prior to her election, she conducted extensive public outreach, presenting "You Decide the Road Ahead" to thousands of North Dakota students and partnering with the North Dakota Department of Transportation on public awareness campaigns.
