Biography

Willie Mack Jackson is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives for District 128, serving since his election on November 4, 2008. Born and raised in Sandersville, Washington County, Georgia, he is married to Valarie Jackson and has two sons, Michael and Daryl. Jackson worked for the State of Georgia for 34 years, retiring in March 2006 as a probation officer III with the Department of Corrections; he is a part owner of BenchMark Partners, LLC, and serves as pastor of St. James Christian Fellowship, Inc. Notable positions include chair of the Rural Development Council, service on eight legislative committees such as Transportation and Subcommittee on Economic Development, and involvement with the Georgia Justice Project to help expunge criminal records.
