Senator Mack Bernard is a Democratic member of the Florida Senate representing District 24, which consists of part of Palm Beach County. Elected to the Senate in 2024, he previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2009 to 2012 and as a Palm Beach County Commissioner since 2016, including roles as County Mayor and Vice Mayor. A longtime resident of Palm Beach County for nearly 40 years, Bernard is an attorney specializing in real estate and tax law. Notable achievements include chairing the Palm Beach County Homeless Advisory Board , serving on the Florida Elections Commission , and advocating for job creation, women's healthcare protections, equality, public education funding, and small businesses. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Ethics and Elections Committee and holds memberships on committees including Agriculture, Criminal Justice, Finance and Tax, Fiscal Policy, Regulated Industries, and others.
