Biography
Lyndon D. Yearick is a Republican representative for District 34 in the Delaware House of Representatives, serving since 2015. Raised on a dairy farm in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, he brings agricultural experience to his role and has over 20 years in business across housing, banking, healthcare, education, and cybersecurity. He currently serves as House Minority Whip , sits on committees including Agriculture, Economic Development/Banking/Insurance & Commerce, Labor, Public Safety & Homeland Security, and Elections & Government Affairs, and authored legislation creating Delaware Produce Week to connect farmers with consumers. Yearick attended the Robert J. Thompson Eastern Leadership Academy in his first term and advocates for vulnerable Delawareans and efficient government. He is employed by ThriveDX, a cybersecurity and digital skills training company, and is married to Janice with three children: Daniel, Lynzi, and Brandon.
Education and Political Experience
Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University; Master of Business Administration from Penn State University. He also worked as a public school educator, mentoring elementary students and serving on advisory committees for Caesar Rodney and Polytech school districts.
Political Experience: Elected to the Delaware House of Representatives for District 34 in 2014; re-elected for multiple terms through present. Former small business owner with 30+ years in nonprofit, housing, health care, and education sectors.
