Requires the School Facilities Authority to include in its annual report to the Legislature its planned actions toward increasing educator workforce housing. Requires the Department of Education to collaborate with certain state and county agencies to submit a preliminary report to the Legislature on the status of lands designated to be transferred to the Department of Education. Luke A. Evslin is a Democratic member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 3. Evslin was elected unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 8, 2020. Evslin studied philosophy at Yale University and earned a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2008. He served as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice from 2011 to 2013. Evslin subsequently became Vice President for Legal Affairs at Aqua-Aston Hospitality, which manages hotels and resorts in Hawaii.read less
