Lucien J.B. Daigle is a Republican state representative serving House District 1 in the Maine House of Representatives, representing towns in Aroostook County including Fort Kent, Eagle Lake, and Allagash. He assumed office on December 3, 2024, after winning the 2024 general election with 65.1% of the vote against Democratic incumbent John Martin. A resident of Fort Kent, Daigle is a dentist with over 40 years providing dental care and serves as Director of Ski Patrol at Lonesome Pine Trails. He is married to Cheryl, with one child and three grandchildren. He serves on the Health and Human Services Committee.

Education and Political Experience

Education: Daigle holds a B.S. from the University of Maine Orono in 1976 and a DMD from Tufts University in 1980.

Political Experience: This is his first term in the Maine House , representing District 1 as a Republican.
