Biography

Lucas Lanigan is a Republican state representative for House District 141 in the Maine House of Representatives, serving the towns of Newfield, Sanford, Shapleigh, and Springvale in York County. He has held this seat since 2022, currently in his second term after being sworn in on December 4, 2024, following a close 2024 election where he won by one vote in a recount against Democrat Patricia Kidder.
