Lucas Atkinson, known as “Lucas” and formally identified as Frank “Lucas” Atkinson, is a longtime resident of Marion, South Carolina, and a representative for South Carolina House District 57. Described as a fifth-term lawmaker from Mullins, he has been portrayed in reporting as having deep family and community ties in Marion County—his mother is a retired schoolteacher, and his father has served as Marion County’s Probate Judge since 1987.
