Louise Ball Stutes is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing House District 5 since 2023 . She resides in Kodiak, Alaska, where she has lived since 1980, and is retired from business ownership. Stutes served as Speaker of the Alaska House from 2021 to 2023, elected by a bipartisan coalition. She is married to Stormy Stutes and has four children: Eric, Naomi, Heidi, and Matt. Notable positions include long-term leadership on the House Fisheries Committee , House Transportation Committee , and House Legislative Council , among others; previously, she was a Kodiak Island Borough Assembly Member and President of the Southwest Alaska Municipal Conference.
