Lori Goldstein is a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing House District 29 in Westminster, which includes parts of Adams and Jefferson counties. She was appointed on January 11, 2026, to serve the final year of Rep. Shannon Bird's term after Bird resigned to run for U.S. House. Previously, Goldstein served six years on the Adams 12 Board of Education, including as its president, and chaired the Adams County Democrats. A lifelong educator with 34 years in Adams 12 Five Star Schools, she worked as a science teacher, special education teacher, and dean at Northglenn High School, and led the District Twelve Educators Association as its head after retiring from teaching. She lives in Westminster with her husband Michael; they have three children. Her priorities include strengthening public education, expanding career and technical opportunities, addressing infrastructure, and ensuring equitable high-speed internet access. Notable personal interests include snowboarding, volunteering as an instructor for the National Sports Center for the Disabled, scuba diving, golfing, and environmental advocacy.
