Elizabeth "Liz" M. Caruso is a Republican state representative serving House District 72 in the Maine House of Representatives, representing towns including Athens, Harmony, Anson, Bingham, Caratunk, Embden, Moscow, Northeast Somerset, and Pleasant Ridge in Somerset County. She assumed office in December 2024 and resides in Caratunk. Previously, she served as Caratunk's first selectman, works as Somerset County Broadband Director for SEDC and the Town of Caratunk, owns a small business, and is a registered Maine whitewater guide and homeschool mom. She ran unsuccessfully for Maine's 2nd congressional district in 2022. Caruso is married to Greg and has two children.
