Biography
Lisa White is a Republican delegate representing District 96 in the West Virginia House of Delegates. Born on March 7, 1959, in Washington, she is retired with a background in marketing and finances. She is married to William for 19 years, has two daughters , and two grandchildren. Her parents are Stanley and Ruby Ketchel, and she is Catholic, affiliated with the Berkeley County Republican Club and Covenant Church.
Notable achievements include serving as Treasurer of the Berkeley County Republican Club, President of the Catholic Business Association, member of the Sacred Heart Board, and Appointed Citizen on the Chesapeake Watershed Commission. In the 2025 session, she was the lead sponsor of 9 bills on topics such as reducing business inventory tax, clarifying HOPE Scholarship eligibility, allowing teachers to carry firearms, removing abortion exemptions for rape and incest, and requiring a moment of silence in schools.

Education: High School.
Political Experience: After moving to West Virginia from Maryland four years prior to her campaign, White joined the Berkeley County Republican Club and was elected Treasurer. Motivated by family values and community prosperity, she left retirement to run for and win the District 96 seat. She serves from her capitol office in Room 210E, Building 1, State Capitol Complex, Charleston.
