Biography
Lisa Standridge is a Republican state senator representing District 15 in the Oklahoma Senate, serving since November 13, 2024. She succeeded her husband, Rob Standridge, after winning a narrow Republican primary runoff by 55 votes and the general election with over 61% of the vote. A lifelong Republican from Noble, she grew up with a strong sense of community and conservative values, later raising a family, working as a healthcare professional, and managing pharmacies in Blanchard and Norman with her husband of 32 years. They have three children and are active at CrossPointe Church. Standridge is pro-life and pro-Second Amendment, and as past President of the Helen Cole Republican Women's Club, she championed conservative causes like restoring funding for Norman police. Notable early legislation includes authoring SB 484 to restrict homeless shelter and outreach in most Oklahoma cities , and SB 80 to reverse authorization for 21 turnpike projects.
