Lisa Feret is a military veteran, social worker, and mother who has served Colorado through local government, nonprofit work, and state policy. A former military police officer, she deployed for disaster relief during the 2013 Colorado floods, the 2021 Marshall Fires , and international humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, Greece, Nepal, and a Denver refugee shelter for Venezuelan migrants. She currently works for the state of Colorado on Medicaid policy and long-term housing, piloting programs to transition people from institutions to community-based care.
