Biography
Lindsay Cross is a Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives representing District 60 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County. Born on November 21, 1977, she moved to Florida in 2001 and assumed office on November 8, 2022, after being elected that year and reelected subsequently, with terms extending to 2030. An environmental scientist with over two decades of experience, she has focused on water quality improvements in Tampa Bay, land conservation, and public health. Notable achievements include securing over $1 billion in water and land conservation funding in 2023, nearly $5 million for district projects like road improvements and parks, passing affordable housing policies, and opposing radioactive waste in road construction. She serves as Vice Chair of the Energy and Climate Caucus and Minority Deputy Whip .
