Biography
Leo Pacheco is an American educator and former politician who served as a Democrat in the Texas House of Representatives for District 118 from January 8, 2019, to August 19, 2021. He previously chaired the Bexar County Democratic Party in the 1990s and upset an incumbent Democrat in the 2018 primary to win the seat. Pacheco resigned in 2021 citing low legislative pay and high demands, later switching to the Republican Party and attempting a comeback bid for the same district.
