Leo Delperdang is a Republican representing Kansas House District 94 in Wichita. Born in 1962 in Sioux City, Iowa, he was raised by a single mother after his father's death in 1964. He moved to Wichita with his wife Connie in late 1989, where they reside with their two sons. Delperdang retired from a 25-year career at AT&T and Bell Laboratories in 2012, holding technical certifications and federal licenses in electronic communications. He later served seven years at Koch Industries as Director of Voice, Data, and Communications Infrastructures. An eight-year member of the Kansas Patriot Guard, he honors fallen military and law enforcement. Elected in November 2016, he serves on committees including Utilities & Telecom, Corrections & Juvenile Justice, Transportation & Safety Budgets, and Military & Veteran Affairs. Notable achievements include being awarded Legislator of the Year by SEMA for promoting supportive policies.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , followed by a second bachelor's in Business and a master's degree, all from Newman University. Self-funded his undergraduate studies after high school.
