Biography
Leland J. Morgan is a Republican representing the Grand Isle-Chittenden district in the Vermont House of Representatives, covering the towns of Alburgh, Grand Isle, Isle La Motte, North Hero, South Hero, and West Milton. A lifelong resident of Milton in Chittenden County, he is a retired military officer, former small business owner, and current Milton Selectboard member. He also serves on the Milton Cannabis Control Board, Milton Liquor Control Board, as a Justice of the Peace, and on the Charter Compliance Committee, Board of Abatement, and Board of Civil Authority. Married with two children and a granddaughter, he is an avid outdoorsman and member of various organizations and clubs. Notable service includes House terms in 1985, 2019–2020, 2021–2022, and 2025–present, with positions on the House Committee on Education.
