ABOUT
Lela Alston was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 1974. Alston served as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 1993 to 2011. In 2010 she was elected to the Arizona State Senate representing District 24. She currently serves on several committees including Education and Appropriations. Alston resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband.read less
