R. Lee James represents Pennsylvania's 64th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving all of Venango County and parts of Crawford County. Born November 20, 1948, he was first elected in 2012 and has been reelected for multiple consecutive terms since 2013. With over 40 years as a businessman in banking and investment management, James prioritizes job creation, regulatory streamlining, infrastructure investment, responsible natural resource harvesting, and education improvement. Notable positions include Republican chairman of the House Tourism, Recreation and Economic Development Committee and previously the House Local Government Committee ; appointed to the Local Government Commission and served as Deputy Whip . Married for over 40 years with three children and four grandchildren.
