Lauren Opal Boebert , born December 19, 1986, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, is a Republican U.S. Representative for Colorado's 4th congressional district, serving her third term since 2025 after representing the 3rd district from 2021 to 2025. A businesswoman and gun rights activist, she owns Shooters Grill, a restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, where staff openly carried firearms from 2013 to 2022. Notable achievements include her 2020 upset primary victory over incumbent Scott Tipton and 2024 reelection over Trisha Calvarese. She serves on the Natural Resources and Oversight Committees, is Vice Chair of the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, co-chair of the Congressional Second Amendment Caucus, and a member of the House Freedom Caucus and Congressional Western Caucus.
