Biography
Laura Hall is a Democratic representative for House District 19 in Madison County, Alabama, first elected in 1993. She has a long career in education, spanning 33 years, including 25 years at J.O. Johnson High School, and retired as Assistant to the President for At-Risk Students and Special Projects at Calhoun Community College in Decatur. Notable positions include chairperson of the Governor's Commission on AIDS and chairperson of the Alabama House of Representatives Black Caucus.
