Biography

Dr. LaShae Sharp-Collins is a Democrat representing California's 79th Assembly District, which includes parts of southeastern San Diego, El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, and unincorporated communities like Bonita, La Presa, and Spring Valley. Born and raised in the district to union-member parents, she is an educator, adjunct professor at San Diego State University, and mother of two living in San Diego.
