Lawrence "Larry" Walsh, Jr. is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives serving District 86, which includes parts of Joliet, Elwood, Channahon, and Shorewood. Born and raised in Elwood, Illinois, he has represented the district since April 2012. He is married to Theresa and has three adult children. Walsh is a former trustee on the Jackson Township Board, a member of the International Machinist and Aerospace Workers Union, and a parishioner at St. Rose’s Parish in Wilmington.
