Larry B. Butler is a Democrat representing Connecticut's 72nd House District since 2007. He previously served four terms as a Waterbury Alderman . Notable achievements include Legislator of the Year by the Connecticut Community Development Association, recognition as one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in Connecticut by the NAACP State Chapter, and election as Vice Chairman in Region 1 of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators.
