Lance Yednock is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives representing the 76th district, which encompasses Bureau, LaSalle, DeKalb, Putnam, and Livingston counties in north central Illinois. A lifelong resident of the Illinois Valley, Yednock was sworn in to office on January 9, 2019, after defeating one-term incumbent Jerry Lee Long in the 2018 general election. Prior to his legislative career, he worked as a heavy machine operator and served as a business agent and executive board member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150, where he spent 28 years in equipment operation. He currently resides in Ottawa, Illinois with his wife.

Yednock holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.
