Laddie Shaw
Laddie Shaw is a Republican politician who has represented District 9 in the Alaska House of Representatives.
Laddie Shaw is a former U.S. Navy SEAL with 24 years of service, including two tours in Vietnam. He has lived in Alaska for over 37 years, is married , and has 20 years of state experience improving public safety and supporting veterans. Elected to the Alaska House in 2018 for District 26, he won the general election with 62.3% of the vote after a three-way Republican primary victory. He later represented District 9, serving terms including 2019-2023 and 2023-2025.
