Biography
Senator Kyle Mullica is a Democratic member of the Colorado State Senate representing District 24 . Elected in 2022 after serving two terms in the Colorado House of Representatives , he serves as Chair of the Health & Human Services Committee and is a member of the Finance and Transportation & Energy Committees. As the only active nurse in the legislature, he works shifts as an emergency department nurse while advocating for working families, children's education, health care access, affordable housing, environmental protection, and workers' rights. Notable achievements include championing legislation to address the youth vaping epidemic, strengthen workers' rights, standardize evidence-based child protection methods, lower health care and prescription drug costs, and promote economic development.
