Kyle Moore - Illinois House Representative District 99

Kyle Moore is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives representing District 99, a position he has held since January 2025. He is a lifelong resident of west-central Illinois and currently resides in Quincy with his wife, Emily.

Education

Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Quincy University.

Political Experience

Moore has an extensive background in local government and economic development:

• Quincy City Council Member — served as a former member of the Quincy City Council
• Mayor of Quincy — elected in 2013 and re-elected in 2017
• Great River Economic Development Foundation — named President in 2021
• Illinois House of Representatives — elected in November 2024 to represent the 99th District

Prior to his political career, Moore was a co-owner and Vice President of a family business, bringing private sector experience to his public service. He is currently seeking a second term in the 2026 Illinois House of Representatives election.
