Kyle Koehler is a Republican politician representing Ohio Senate District 10, which encompasses Clark, Greene, and Clinton Counties. Born on October 5, 1961, in Springfield, Ohio, he is a lifelong resident of Clark County, married to Kathrin, with five children: Jessica, Julia, Jordan, Jacob, and Joel. Notable achievements include chairing the Ohio House Agriculture and Rural Development Committee for four years, passing reforms on payday lending and occupational licensing , and currently serving as Chair of the Senate Workforce Development Committee, Vice Chair of Agriculture & Natural Resources and Sunset Review Committees, and member of Education, Higher Education, and Local Government committees. He also chairs the Sunset Review Committee, serves on the Governor's Executive Workforce Board and Faith-Based Initiatives Advisory Board, and participates in the Controlling Board for the Ohio Office of Budget and Management.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Springfield Catholic Central High School in 1980; earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with honors from Wright State University in 1984.
• Professional Background: Worked seven years as a software engineer for government contractors at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Navy, including AI applications for signal analysis and human interface systems for the ES-3A program, holding a Top Secret SCI clearance with the NSA. Later served as Vice President of K.K. Tool Co. Inc.
• Political Experience: Served in the Ohio House of Representatives for the 79th District from 2015 to 2022 . Elected to the Ohio Senate in 2024 with 65%-35% margin; sworn in January 6, 2025, for a four-year term. Actively involved in Heritage Fellowship Church and supports Young Life ministries; he and his wife have supported adoptions of over 20 children in their church community.
