Biography

Kurtis Gregory is a Republican state senator representing Missouri's 21st Senatorial District, which includes Cooper, Howard, Lafayette, Ray, Saline, and part of Clay counties, encompassing municipalities like Excelsior Springs, Kearney, Liberty, Marshall, and Smithville. He took office on January 8, 2025, after being first elected in 2024, following service in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2020 to 2024 for District 51. A farmer, he owns and operates a 900-acre corn and soybean farm with his wife Kella and parents Roger and Ruth, and custom feeds 2,400 pigs; he serves on the Missouri Corn Growers board, is a local delegate for MFA Oil, and is active in the Saline County Farm Bureau, Missouri Corn Growers Association, and Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. Notable achievements include the 2022 Farm Bureau Friend of Agriculture Award, participation in the 2013 Corn Growers CornRoots Leadership Class, carrying the Missouri Farm Bureau Health Plans bill, and serving as Vice-Chair of the House Agriculture Policy Committee.
