Biography

Kristin Robbins is a Republican Minnesota State Representative for House District 37A , previously representing District 34A from 2019-2023. Born Kristin Lois Jacobson on April 29, 1968, in Crookston, Minnesota, she resides in Maple Grove and serves as Executive Director of the Economic Club of Minnesota. She is married to Brent with three children and a member of New Hope Church. Robbins has won all five of her campaigns, most recently in 2024 with 57.12% of the vote. She announced her intention to run for Governor in 2026.

Education and Political Experience

Education: B.A. in economics/political science from Bethel University; M.A. in economics from Washington University; Policy Fellow at University of Minnesota Humphrey Institute .

Political Experience: Elected to the Minnesota House in 2018 . Current roles include Chair of Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy, Co-Chair of Higher Education Finance and Policy, and member of the Taxes Committee.
