Biography
Kristin M. Corrado is a Republican politician representing New Jersey's 40th Legislative District in the State Senate, where she has served since her appointment on October 5, 2017. A lifelong resident of Totowa, New Jersey, she is an attorney with over 30 years of experience, admitted to practice in New Jersey and Florida, and a partner at Corrado & Corrado, Esqs., specializing in real estate and probate. Notable achievements include serving as Passaic County Clerk , where she expanded outreach programs; leading opposition to a gubernatorial nomination in 2018; sponsoring legislation for special elections in county vacancies; and passing a bill establishing June 12 as Women's Veterans Appreciation Day. She advocates for first responders and the developmentally challenged, and holds positions as Ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, plus memberships in Economic Growth, Education Committees, Mental Health Advisory Committee, Prison Reentry Commission, and Legislative Disability Caucus.
