Biography
Kristin S. Boggs is a Democratic politician and judge currently serving on the 10th District Court of Appeals in Ohio, a position she has held since 2023. Previously, she represented Ohio's 18th House District in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2016 to 2023; this district includes parts of Columbus , Ohio State University, Bexley, and Grandview Heights in Franklin County. Notable achievements include nearly a decade as an Ohio Assistant Attorney General , where she focused on predatory lending, fair wages, financial exploitation, and protecting vulnerable populations. She is recognized as an advocate for public education, economic opportunity, voting rights, affordable education, and domestic violence prevention, and has served on boards like the American Constitution Society and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Attended Kent State University, participated in AmeriCorps, and graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
- Political Experience: Daughter of former Ohio House Representative, Senate Democratic Leader, and Ohio Department of Agriculture Director Robert "Bob" Boggs.
